Built on 10 years of customer experience in the United States, SuccessMaker continues to be associated with raised attainment, improved motivation, behavior and self-esteem.
SuccessMaker delivers individualized learning in math, reading, writing and spelling for middle school students. Each student has a learning program continuously tailored to personal needs; all students progress at their own level and pace and are free to achieve within the security of their own private learning space. Goddard offers open-lab time each morning starting at 7:30 for students to complete their SuccessMaker 15 minute lessons. Three labs as well as all classroom computers have SuccessMaker available for students to use. Many math and reading classes use Goddard’s computers on a daily basis for SuccessMaker lessons.
Learners, teachers and mentors are supported throughout the process by sophisticated diagnosis of achievement and difficulty, delivered through continuously differentiated learning resources and clear, detailed reporting.
SuccessMaker comprises a portfolio of courses to support both
• the development and reinforcement of core skills (math, reading, writing and spelling), and
• the extension of learning through more exploratory activities and investigations (math and reading).
Through appropriate allocation of courses by the teacher/mentor, students of all levels of ability can be supported and extended in their learning and use of math and English.
SuccessMaker is used successfully in hundreds of schools across the United States to meet their particular curriculum and student needs. The range of courseware and the flexibility of licensing and deployment models permits one class to focus on target groups of lower-achieving students, while another class uses it to develop students of all abilities including the gifted and talented.
